Marketing Strategies firm Opens its Doors to Ottawa Area

Ottawa, Ont - March 19, 2000 - Yet another success story arises from local John McCrae Secondary School. A Grade 11 by the name of Michael Doyon set out in late February to start up Base Strategies, a high growth strategy firm.

"It's a marketing company that also specialises in developing print ads, and public relations for young, start-up companies that need to be recognised by the media and by the public", Doyon says. John McCrae demonstrates yet again that it produces fine entrepreneurial success stories such as this one.

"We have had many small businesses start up out of John McCrae, but this one is much bigger, and better too", Vice-Principal of JMSS, Rod McGillis exclaims.

Matthew Anderson has also agreed to join Doyon in forming Base Strategies. Anderson was formerly an executive at CJMS Bulldog Radio, has been involved in numerous amounts of projects, ranging from launching Bulldog Radio to John McCrae Secondary School.

"Things are beginning to look up for me, and Base Strategies as well", Anderson says. "I have talked with Michael, and our primary objective is to introduce ourselves to the public and to create awareness about this new speciality firm", he ads.
